Cold Steel Trail Master which one?

Belote is a good seller and trustworthy. Your version is the newest, the clip point is longer by appx 1", the guard is a tad wider and the choil, which is what that swoop is, is larger as well. I have seen some fairly convincing looking fakes from China lately for $60 bucks popping up. They are fake as fake can be but not what you have.

Buffalo, I'm not the biggest kukri guy, but I have never seen LTC SMIIIversion. They do currently make the Gurkha version though. Is that the one you speak of?

I'm not trying to argue with you or claim you said something you didn't. I'm just trying to make sure I don't offend you.
Generally I try to know someone first before I offend them :)

Well you're gonna have to try a lot harder if you wanna offend me. :D

Generally, all things being equal, the bigger the blade the better it chops: just simple physics.
That's VERY general. Weight distribution, thickness, edge geometry, even the handles all play a significant part as well. But all other things being equal, yes, the bigger blade will outchop the smaller one.

BTW, I didn't know Holland and Portugal shared a border ;)
Heh. Again, I never claimed they do. ;)

Update, I did a chopping comparison between the TM and BWM and shot video that is uploading now. The ended up the same in the end chopping some very hard seasoned pine. They both did well taking into account the light weight of both knives and how hard the wood was. :) Neither knife is what I would call a big chopper like a FFBM or something like that. ;)

A few Teaser Photos until the video uploads and I make a thread. ;)

Clear win for the TM! :D

It was about the same for both knives, close enough anyway, neither blade is a big chopper IMO. ;)

Here is what a real chopper can do, same number of chops as the other 2 on the same log. The Busse FFBM, not even on the same planet. I shot video of this too. :D

Thanks for the interesting photos! I'm that rarity on this forum; an unapologetic CS fan ,but certainly not to the point of excluding other brands. I had the change to pick up a new Spderco Forester cheaply but let it go by. Now that I see the comparison photos I kind of regret it.
One day I'm going to buy the Natchez ,my local knife store has it for $500.00 canadian.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll scrape together enough money for a Busse one day.

Both videos are up in the Review forum. :)

There's quite a few Cold Steel fans who became Busse addicts, me being one. So there's hope for you yet. And I still like Cold Steel. :)

Yeah, I believe it is the Ghurka Kukri that is available in San Mai III. It ain't too cheap though!
