Some time back I bought this knife, the Pendleton Mini Hunter, and the Master Hunter. I recently sold the Master Hunter and am now letting this one go to a new home.
It is a very substantial knife even though it is only 8 1/4" O.A.L. The spine of the vg-1 blade is very thick for a knife this size, and I have no doubt it would hold up very well under hard use, but the Mini is the only one I have used and I bonded with it...
I bought the knife new, and it has never cut anything. It did however spend time in my hunting pack. The only wear spots on it are on the rubber where it "snaps" into place in the sheath. The retention is very good on this one. The box however is a little rough. It arrived that way.
