the short hafts on them already is why i have never bought a vn style hawk. they might be easier to carry in the field that way but if i'm going to carry something i would prefer around 20"

well, just have fun with it - you can always re-haft it, like brother 7.62 here did, his.

i really like a big-ol head on a 8 - 12 inch handle sometimes though, but i hate that it isn't good for much else.

when i get that Sectional Handle executed to a point that i can produce it quickly, the Investors are going to be loving life, God Willin' and the river don't rise....

waiting for tools sucks. - i thought waiting for knives was bad.......
