Cold Steel Voyager

For self defense, I think the Nogales clip point blades may be better than either the clip point or tanto, so for a 5" blade, I would go with a Vaquero, or better yet, a Desperado.
 
Guys, does these voyager series have dual thumb studs? And how easy the opening (we know liner lock can be flipped out) how bout this lock back?
 
I've owned both large and XL Voyagers, I prefer
the large because the XL is too hard to open for
me. I have large hands so I think it's the angle
of the handle. If you're using the knife for
SD think more of shot placement rather than
blade shape.
