  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Cold Steel Voyager

I've owned a Voyager Large (4") Tanto with the plain edge for almost two years now and I wouldn't trade that knife for anything. It makes my Buck Knives feel like billy clubs. The black Zytel handles might make it a featherweight, but don't be fooled ~ this knife is heavy on performance. Unless you're looking for a pocket knife that'll hack down California redwoods, the Voyagers are good for almost every situation you might encounter ~ from cutting rope or twine to whittling wood and chopping bait. With the belt clip it's a snap to carry, since it can be hooked to anything with an edge. Personally, I never leave home without mine. It goes on my belt right alonside my Leatherman PST2 and my Mini-Maglite. I highly recommend it.

Of course, to each his own. :D

Voyager is hit or miss.

My brother has one that the edge rolls when you try and sharpen it...bad heat treat. I like my serrated 5".

I think a Spyderco Edura is a cheaper and better option.
