Cold Steel vs Blade magazine

That was some time ago. I remember in one of their Special Projects catalogues, they said they were not going to run ads in Blade magazine because Blade would not feature any Cold Steel knives on their cover or something. I thought it was rather childish since they were basically complaining that Blade would feature knives from new companies like Junglee and CRKT and had not featured a Cold Steel knife. Apparently, the "fued" is over with as Blade did feature the Scimitar on one of their issues.

You old timers might remember that CS had the same fight with Fighting Knives and Greg Walker in the early to mid-nineties. Hmmmmmmm
 
I still have that special projects catalog!!! I think Lynn was pretty mad, he felt Cold Steel was not getting any coverage on it's stuff...
 
I still remember reading their rant against BLADE Magazine on their website three years ago.
 
To me Cold Steel knives are good quality knives, but it's sad to see the company owner trash other competitors for their knives and criticize Blade magazine. Besides, too much hype damages your credibility.
