Rather than hijacking the propane lantern thread . . .
When I use my Coleman propane lantern with the small bottles (as opposed to a 20# tank w/ a distribution tree) the plastic base that slips on the bottom of the tank keeps sliding off. It is really unreasonably loose - and that is with Coleman brand fuel bottles.
Have any of you had that happen? What was your solution? I'd rather modify the base than mess with each of the disposable tanks.
