Collab with Kyle Hanson

Great looking blade! Sleek design for a small knife, love the hamon. W2 and micarta, ready for action! Nice work.

Nice lines! Really like this style and you already know I'm a hamon man.

Agree with Kevin on taking time to build the foundational skills. There are so many younger folks I deal with at work that have not taken the time to so this and end up in a crash and burn down the road. Looks like the Hanson clan is following the path of the wise.

Loved Adam's DH IV. Good chuckle but also a family name that one can be proud of!!!

Thanks again guys!

Rob, we are taking it slow and easy. Best way to learn the basics, is to do a lot of basic knives. After 20 or so, Kyle is getting tired of making small knives, he's grinding on a 12" blade now and we will see how that goes.

He has the tapered full tang 3 piece knife down pretty good now. Time to make a few hidden tangs with guards.

Very nice work. It really helps to have a good mentor both in knife making and in life. Lessons learned can never be taken away. The Hanson name lives on.
