Collaboration with Chris Reeve?

if they put that wave feature on a zt, i'll start buying bucks exclusively...i don't want to see a zt turned into a toy...

I like you Thomas W. Perhaps we could do a BKT/ZT collaboration, since all I carry now is pretty much ZT in my folders.

How about a folding ZT03BK2?

:D I love this place.

Don't know if you've heard, but Tim has been back working for us for some time. Tim likes me. :)

Bring back the Ti JYD.....My best ti frame lock, great action fit&finish.
If I had a time machine I would buy two more...:D.

I'm down with that, Moose. Or a pocket-sized folding BK17. :D

OT, I was going to say I didn't think CR did those kinds of things. I'm not a fan of the company, but I do want something like one of those Umnumzaan.

Not trying to be a hater, but I really don't see what a CRK collaboration would accomplish. The main thing that makes Sebenzas and their CRK brethren unique are the extremely close tolerances to which they're machined as well as their fit and finish. Apart from that, there's not much else outstanding about their designs.

Many other knives have more innovative locking systems (yes CRK makes the Ti-lock, but to be fair that is a Grant & Gavin Hawk collab) and pivot systems. I believe there are other manufacturers/custom knifemakers that could collaborate on a design that would either be more practical or aesthetically appealing (or both) compared to a CRK collab.

Personally, I'd like to see more fixed blade collaborations. Bill Harsey, Landi, BRKT, Strider, Entrek, those are some of the few I can think of.

Hey Thomas,

I say produce a line with Tim Galyean of turbulences and junkyard dogs with the kvt bearing system and s30v. Id be all over that and it would fill the void for people wanting Tims pro series line.

Im sure you guys are busy enough with regular production models but I would just love to see that.

Emerson collab = gold. :D or at least up to $300 of my gold if the design worked. I can't imagine Ernie would be too interested in it though.

I got the Kershaw Auto-Commander back when they were available. But yeah, it doesn't look like there'll be more in the future.

I asked, he yelled at me.

That sounds about right.

I asked him once about putting a round hole opener on Sebenza and I think he muttered an F bomb under his breath before explaining how it will never happen.:D:D

yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes. This would be amazing. Very nice middle ground between the pro series and his collaborations on the lower end

Is Tim Galyean still producing any Pro Series knives for sale? His web site doesn't seem to have been updated for several years.

I'm looking forward to my annual trip to the CRK booth with Thomas at Blade. It is always interesting and somehow we always end up over there...... I get the feeling like the KOTY stand is deliberately placed in between the 2 booths. ;)

As much as I would like to see the TG Pro Series Drone come to fruition, I would definitely settle for a KAI produced Drone with KVT pivot, Ti framelock, G-10 scale, and an M390 or Elmax blade.

I still want a Pro Series Drone to add to my Pro Series collection though.
