What other quality physical items do you collect in addition to knives?

I collect knives and... I am starting to collect bikes and binoculars. I like well built mechanical items, can you suggest others?

My brother collects guitars.

How would you finish the sentence? I collect knives and...?

Here are some ideas of fun things I bet some of you like collecting, to get the ball rolling: watches, firearms, axes, stereo equipment, ratchets, old video game consoles, arcade machines...

Stocks, money, degrees, bad partners, broken bones, horrible bosses, empty bottles of scotch, unreliable cars, weeds in the lawn, and the likes need not apply. What do you actually spend your time, money and knowledge to actively collect?

Knives and axes.

At one point in my life I collected arachnids. I was on a mission to own all spectrums of Latrodectus; Black Widow, Brown Widow, Red Widow. I was successful:D

Nowadays I only own 3 tarantulas.

knives and also watches. i have a small collection of seiko and citizen divers and just recently bought an omeaga seamaster.

I collect memorable moments in life, I try to go out to see new places, create new experiences and try new things, so this life isn't wasted. These collections are engraved in my memories and is always apart of me, of course there are lots of photo backups as well.

Rare coins (dealer/collector over 30 years) and antique glass mainly bottles.

I collect stocks (which most certainly do count), rare beers (my cellar is roughly at around 300 bottles right now), ammo, cigars, Hot Wheels, and the occasional [redacted so it's not used against me later LOL]. I will say that I've slowed down on collecting knives, instead seeking to enjoy those I have collected thus far. It's working out!

Flea market knives, DVD's , die cast cars ( mostly modern hot wheels and Johnny lightning , plus anything that's a GTO ) I used to collect those little gumball machine Martians.
while you can't really consider it much of a collection I keep any wheat pennies that I find , with no goal in mind but the hopes of maybe getting one from each year.

I collect time... At the rate of one day at a time :)

Congrats Charlie Mike! Awesome.

I collect knives and pens. Also first edition hardcovers of my favorite authors. I'd love to collect watches, but that'd be an expensive hobby!

I collect souls.
:D

And knives.
And it seems the mountain bikes are starting to pile up these days as well.

I'm not a collector, in the normal sense of the word. I don't buy things to complete sets, or anything like that.

I do "collect" hobbies though. I make it a point to every year or so branch out into something new. I enjoy learning the depths of a new hobby, and new skills as well.

I am also a fairly avid cyclist (50-80 miles a week), enjoy home theater, build my own computers (and overclock them), woodworking (combined this one with my home theater hobby. Built a nice disguised subwoofer :)), make my own camping gear (hammocks, tarps, backpacking quilts), photography, done a little bit of leather work (sheath making) and am beginning to dabble in video editing.

Each of those hobbies come with all sorts of gear, but so far I've not collected/accumulates much that what is "required".

Since becoming married and a parent, I've been acquiring a lot less knives, and a lot more bills....

I do have about a dozen torches if that's enough to constitute a collection, from a wee single 10440 light, to several Zebralights and others to a Thrunite TN35.
Modern LEDs and Li-ion cells make me think of the old days of the 4x D cell Maglite with a spare bulb in the tail cap as 'the dark ages'.

I collect old flea market knives, old diecast Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox model cars, and old silver charms...

I collect old school early 80's boomboxes. Well I did before I ran out of room and began spending all my money on knives instead. I do still have a tower of them. This sort of thing.
