The only Buck knives I currently own are 700 series slip joints. I have 6 of those. The newest one is from 2000 and the rest range from 1979-1992.

I collect 112's and 300 series mostly but not exclusively. My collection is about 60% post 1990 and 40% pre 1990.

qua, yes that is a Buck asterisk stamp from 1967. That was the year they did that stamp. Thanks for clearing that up. DM

my collection is all over the place, pre-1990 and 1990-on...it consists of mostly customs, but also some production. but since it includes bill morans and ray appletons and bob loveless and others, many are pre-1990...

My Buck knives are a few years old to new. All of our Buck knives are made in Idaho.

My former folding Buck knives and two Buck fixed blade knives (Woodsman and Vanguard.) were gifted to my husband.

I carry and use BUCK knives on a regular basis. The Ka-Bar # 1211 knife is by my bed and/or by my camp sleeping bag.

These are my top two Buck knives:

Buck Ranger Skinner 113 - EDC knife.

Buck 119 Special

We may get another Buck kitchen knife too.

We use the two Buck kitchen knives and the two Pak Lite knives around the house.

I am not a collector like so many of you are here.

I use what I own/carry in knives on a regular basis just as I did with my former firearms or any other tool or 'thing' in my house and life.

I have a small collection of Buck knives.
1966 to 1974 [301 knives] made by Schrade and Camillus - about 80%.
The other Bucks 1% after 2000 and about 19% from 1974 to 1985.

My Schrade collection, was about 50% 1961 to 1980 and 50% 1980 to 1990.
However, when Schrade closed down - I spent 10 years, buying anything made after 2000.
Today, my Schrade Collection would be:
50% 2000 to 2004: 25% 1961 to 1975: and 25% 1975 to 2000.

I started collecting in 2008 with 112's but I like all Bucks! At one time I had over 75 different, but now have around 50..Most are pre 1990's but I went for really rare, odd, 1 of 1 so my collection includes any oddball I find and can afford.
