COllection Pics

Here's an old photo of mine. It has grown since this picture was taken.

I get the parang but don't know the Excalibutter?

Andy forged it himself. Prior to getting a clip point, it had a rounded tip, and I gave it that name because of that feature.

I believe one of the goloks in Mr. Colglazier's pics may have been one of his own making as well...? Andy?

Here is what Excalibutter looked like before I clipped the blade -

The golok was made from an old farrier's rasp. It was really the first knife I ever made. I gave it to our current farrier. :)

Here's my batch, for what it's worth:

(Clockwise from Upper Left)
Upper Left Corner - 18.625" M43 by Get (aka "Rufus"), w/ accessories
Center
- Venetian Rapier by Arms & Armor (aka "Trapper") purchased during my last year at the Bristol Renaissance Festival in 1999
- Unidentified military uniform sword found in aunt's possessions, reputed to be Great-Grandpa's dress weapon from WWI.
Right - cheap, $20 throwing 'hawk, purchased at a pow-wow in 1999. (Still some schmutz on the head, from where it was briefly covered in duct tape.)
Lower Right Corner - 12" Bura Salyan
Bottom Center - R6 knife by Sher the Tiger
Lower Left Corner - Leatherman Juice Xe6 (aka "Pinky"), probably the most-used knife here.
Left (between Rapier and Rufus) - Cold Steel Roach Belly (w/ broken shoe lace for lanyard)

Missing is the Buck Folding Hunter that I got from my Dad, which I seem to have misplaced.

My collection pales in comparison to many here, but I'm working on it.

I made this pic for another forum, but it is the only pic with all my khuks.

Awesome stuff. I have to get an M43!

Ain't used my newly-gotten M43 myself, but it definitely has the feel of a nice user, and than long bevel promises some good choppin'! I hate to admit to having been partially deaf to wildmike's sage counsel in the past, but there you have it. I think he got it right.
