Collection "theme"

They're supposed to have themes?

Okay then. Well most of mine have blades. ;) :p

Cracked me up ;) ...

I guess I collect anything with Bose on it..I also have a few older knives but nothing special..

I was thinking about starting an Old Timer collection..I have bid on a few with the red bone handles from "the bay", but have not won one yet..

Although I didn't really set out to do it, I do have a theme. Can ya guess what it is?

Most of my knives are a massive jumble of unassociated "whatever caught my eye" knives - some of everything.

In addition to the random accumulating, I specialize in USA-Schrade Old Timer and German Bruckman knives. I'm beginning to take an interest in SAKs too, particularly discontinued models.

This is a display of older Sheffield mop handled knives I've been working on.
I bought a nice pearl Sheffield made by Needham. I've never heard of that company before, but I wouldn't mind having a few more knives like it.

Ummmm, knives on a plank? :D Some nice ones there.

I guess my overall theme would be "some old knives, and then some *really* old knives". Most of mine could be generally themed by pattern -- barlows, Signal Corps knives, office knives, whittlers, congresses, .... But then you could regroup and have pre-1900 Sheffield knives and pre-1940 American knives. Or you could do it by manufacturer - Joseph Rodgers, George Wostenholm, Robeson, Case, .... I've really got to get a new scanner so I show some of these off. :(
