CollectorKnives.net always a pleasure!

It's been a while since I've seen feedback for Mike Latham and collectorknives.net here in the Feedback section. We praise him often in the Traditional Forum. Thought I'd post here for those who don't wander into our neck of the woods.

Just bought a Case humpback stockman from Mike.
I placed the order on Sunday and it is in my hands tonight (Wed). The packaging was excellently secure.
The price for the model I bought was the lowest I found.

Mike's site is always one of the first ones I visit when I'm on the hunt for a new knife.
Good prices. Fast shipping. Good service.

A word from a competitor (me).

Mike is one of the good guys--the really good guys. He and I have had opportunity to talk on the phone several times and always found a friend on the other side. Recently one of our employees needed a knife he had that we didn't and so he ordered. Everything went flawlessly. The package was delivered in record speed, packed well and the knives were excellent.

You would be hard pressed to find a better company. Mike is a credit to the industry.

Not my cup of tea. In my case, I asked some specific questions on condition and did not receive specific answers.

They charge a restocking fee and if your knife is defective you get the choice of returning it to the factory or store credit not refund. If you return for store credit, they deduct their shipping. They don't insure unless you specify it, and if USPS says it is delivered and it's not, it's your problem. Make sure you read their terms and conditions.

I appreciate all the kind words. My policies on warranty work / restock are clearly stated on the website for those that want a genuine interpretation. But anyone that has had any type of business before knows that you have to have good written policies in place to protect yourself when in actuality all you have to do to be successful is treat others as you would like to be treated.

For those that have actually done business with me, thank you for the positive sentiment. If I can ever help with anything, please let me know.
