These were my dad’s and they all fire open and close without issue. I want to get them to an auto lover before I mistakenly do something to change that. As much as I’d like to hold onto them, I don’t see myself keeping up on maintenance in the way these knives deserve. Plus I like the idea of releasing my dad’s finds back into circulation. I know I haven’t had many sales over here and am happy to send/post more pics or video (multiple, time-stamped, etc.) and answer whatever questions I can. I’m also happy to use PP G&S (or Venmo equivalent).
For your consideration:
7” Hubertus Leverlock $200 shipped OBO
This has a mirror-finished clip point blade with nail nick, a hole in the lever and “Hubertus Solingen Geschmiedet Rostfrei Germany” printed in gray on blade. It has a polished dark brown linen micarta handle with silvery streaks, nickel silver fluted bolsters and brass liners and pins. This knife looks like it’s never been used but of course I can’t say for sure. Fires open quickly and tucks closed without issue. Please note small areas of rust shown in photos.
8" Tarry Levigne lizard/gecko-stamped Italian switchblade with swivel bolster close $250 shipped
This has a swedge blade, nickel silver bolsters, bone scales and D-stamped brass liners. It has the lizard (gecko?) etched over the word import on the ricasso on one side and INOX on the other. From what I’ve read these were made in Italy to be sold by Tarry Levigne in France in the 1960s-70s. (I’m sorry if everyone here knows all this already.) There are scratches present on both sides of the blade. The horn handle is in beautiful shape and is a very nice blend of cream, yellow and brown. It opens strongly and quickly and closes without issue. The safety also functions properly. Please note rust/wear shown in photos.
Take them both for $400.
Please message if interested. If someone e-mails you - it’s not me. I’ll only communicate through this forum. I accept PayPal or Venmo.
Thanks for taking a look!
