:) I would like to thank John Green and his support team for putting together the c. The first show in Napa that I can remember. And thanks to all the attending artist and knife makers - some old friends and new ones I met. There where some great finds and interesting conversations. And mostly I would like to thank the attendees that supported the artists and the support team that put this show together.

It would have been great to have been there:(
(at least I was there in spirit (or at least a couple of knives out of my collection made it out there)).

I was supposed to be there but just couldnt swing it. It sounds like a high quality show that will bring a new wave of customers, collectors and contacts together. It was also to be the Debut of "Planet Builders" the all damascus globe of the world Ed Schemp and over 30 makers started a few years ago. Was it there? That would be a marvel to see!

Between the Pittsburg game and Fitch,Barker(ordered a hunter and Bowie),Knight,Anders(had some ass kickin stuff),Rodebaugh,Ferry,
Carter,Diskin,( a couple cool folder as only he can do,ordered one)Broadwell (beauitful knives and fountain pens, a guy named John Davis(won best of show watch him and his damascus)Kramer, ect, ect and a couple of dealers it was a ball.
Talked for quite a while with John Fitch,Reggie Barker(what a character) Jason Knight(got a Bowie from him that will knock your socks off) Jim Rodebaugh(my hidden treasure, and if you do not have a knife from this man you are missing out big time.Got a fighter and another Sheffield Bowie WOW)
Tom Ferry (made a hunter for me that is to kill for.Such talent.) Fitch had a large Fitch sized bowie and Barker had a Fitch sized Bowie but cannot buy them all,but I have them working nights ha ha(thats what I used to say about Whiskey, cannot drink it------ well you get the point.
I had a great time and the show is almost a perfect size.I go on record about shows and show size.Smaller the show better to get to know the makers.I think all the makers did pretty well.
Pics later
Randy

As predicted, my socks are knocked off. The ironwood on that Knight is just outrageous. Terrific blade shape too. The Rodebaugh Scheffield is real slick as well.
