Do you guys treat yourself with a new knife at the end of a semester? I do. The past 3 semesters I have gotten some really nice ones as presents for myself. Last spring, when I saw still new to knives I bought a Manix 2 lightweight and a Benchmade Torrent. Last semester, I bought a Microtech Socom. Earlier this week I (finally) found and bought a Damascus Skyline. Anyone else do the same?

I don't always have the patience, but last semester I got myself a sword, and the year before that a Fallkniven A1. And halfway this semester I got myself a KDSH. Thinking about getting a Klötzli knife or something special for this semester, depending on my funds.

last time I treat myself an ESEE 4 for finally starts working on my thesis. I am planning on treating myself a Spyderco Delica damascus-titanium sprint run when I am finishing my college next 2 months (hopefully)

I try to buy something nice at the end of the semester, but I make a lot more money during the summer so I end up buying nicer stuff then anyways :D This semester I'm thinking of having 5-6 small fixed blades cut at a nearby waterjet place so I can have some side projects for the summer.

I have to do my best to save up this summer since I am moving out of state. I drastically cut down on how many knives I was buying so I could save up. I decided that there were two knives that I would buy: the Spyderco forum knife, and if it came up a Damascus Skyline. Basically, my summer will not have me buying blades

Sounds like a tough summer :( that Spyderco forum knife is awesome though, one of those may need to find its way into my pocket too...

Yea... I've been looking to get a Native for a while. I have adapted to setting aside money for sprint runs in just about a year and a half of buying knives

I'm not getting myself anything for the end of this semester. But within the last month of class; I have acquired quite a few knives and traded many of my knives for ones that I really want.

I think it'd be nice if I had a goal set like that, and it would probably motivate myself more to do better, but I'm a compulsive buyer.

I work on-campus during the semester and did a decent amount of thinning out my collection over the past couple of months to free up some extra cash. Every time I manage to get a bit of extra money that I don't need to put toward anything else, I put it in my paypal account.

End of semester result: My paypal account is completely empty, I just got the notification that a small, LH Wilson Combat "Starbenza" was delivered at home the other day, and I have one of the M390 GSO 4.1's on order from Survive. :D It's nice to have something to look forward to going into finals.

I do have a job lined up over the summer; hopefully a lot more of that money will be going into a savings account. But it's fun to be a little irresponsible and buy something really nice every once in a while.

Waiting on my tax refund check before I buy anything else. A Ritter grip, some custom scales, and a Spyderco millie are calling my name after that.

Ive never actually thought about buying knife at the end of a semester but I buy knives throughout the semester. These aren't big purchases though. Last spring I had to put my tax refund check towards a set of tires but this year I didn't have any major purchases (except tutition) and bought a small Sebenza 21. Should be arriving tomorrow!

I buy waaaaay too many knives throughout the semester to have any money left over to treat myself at the end of it. However, I did receive my Jake Hoback A10 and Lionsteel SR-1A about a week and a half ago so that's a good enough treat for me :)

I have been doing this for a few semesters, it's good motivation. I have bought a benchmade 943, ZT 0550, SOG Visionary 1, and am considering an ESEE Izula once I finish up this semester.

nope not gonna do it... I've already bought several during the regular semester... I feel so bad... It's like eating desert before dinner.

I buy way too many during the semester to be able to treat myself at the end!

My paychecks usually just go straight to tuition payments unfortunately.

I'll treat myself to a bk10 when it comes out though :D
