College students!

My Damascus Skyline came in today. Pretty stoked. This will probably be the last time I'll be able to purchase a ton of knives in a semester. I'm moving out of state next semester so most of my money will probably be going towards rent
 
I cheated since I still have about two weeks until I'm done for the year. This week I got a Benchmade AFCK 806bk-901 in M4 steel. Super sick.
 
I've done this to justify getting something a couple times. I was planning on gifting myself a william henry or chris reeve when I graduated but ended up putting that off for now.
 
I try to save-up some cash on the side throughout the semester so I can buy one high quality folder after finals. Ended up buying a Microtech socom here on the forums during finals just last week
 
Only during senior year did I start buying knives at the end of the semester. Kind of an excuse to reward oneself for the effort...

Now I wish I had started earlier on knives. Before that it was car parts and computer stuff - projects either completed or now on hold.
 
I was way too poor in college to treat myself to a knife after each semester, but I bought myself an Umnumzaan as a graduation gift and a Damascus Sebenza as a reward for getting my job that required the degree :)
 
Bought myself an end-of-school-year present (< $50) last year since the school year ended around my birthday.
This summer I'm turning 21, so instead of a knife, I'm saving up for a handheld lead thrower.
 
I would have definitely treated myself at the end of this semester..only thing is I couldn't wait and got myself my first strider smf couple of weeks ago, so thats it for me buying knives for at least half a year I'd say!
 
Between the mortgage and tuition and life I don't have too much money for knives these days...it's tough going back to school after being out for 10 years! Mostly just trading for me this past year and one izula....however at the end of my 5 year degree I am gonna go nuts!! I'm putting my efforts and imagination into that goal....
 
Oh! And I spent some time in the winter making a knife...that helped take the edge off!
 
Yeah, usually, depending on how much money I have.

My freshman year I bought an FFG Delica, last year a bought a SOG Twitch 2.

This year I want to get something $100+ since my girlfriend wants me to pick out a nice knife. I'm thinking about a Small Sebenza, but I'm not totally sure what my budget is this summer.

I'm defiantly getting a Manix 2 after my last final tomorrow.
