I am not aware of there ever being a Collins forge or any Collins business operations out of Avon Ct. Though Avon has always been a wealthy, prominent town and a border town to South Canton/Collinsville and the Collins Co Factory.
Collins did label and stamp many make of axes for marketing and to compete across the land in all markets.
You see them with Hartford, NY, Avon, Collinsville, and other names.
Some for only wholesale, others for Hardware sales, and other direct contract sales.

You have some real beauty's here!
