I figure it would make a great small camp axe. I need to get a hickory handle for it.
It will also be a cool restore project.

It is branded:
Collins Hartford Conn.
it has a forearm with a hammer in it.

I will remove the rust and get better photos in the next few days.

It kind of looks like some sort of shingle axe?

I'm just curious what the model name might be?

Collins Legitimus. Nice hatchet. I think it would look nice with a straight handle - 14" or so. Similar to this one (not a Collins)

I have it all cleaned up and put a straight handle on it. I don't like the handle at all so I will look for a different style.
