image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Here is a very nice Collins #1250 Canadian contract machete, in very good using condition. Catch and release for me, perhaps- the blade is as I got it: cleaned probably with a wire wheel, still very little surface pitting (almost none) and good blade symmetry with (apparently) no metal removed. Small nick in edge about 5" forward of Bakelite handle, tip slightly damaged but easily repaired, otherwise blade is in really good condition. Handle has small chip or gouge on one side, otherwise solid and tight to blade. Blade markings good, sheath is military issue correct but not original to this machete, has had the handle retainer strap modified to accommodate the larger grip- apparently this is quite common for these. 14.5" blade, 19.25" OAL
Asking $165, PayPal'd G&S and delivered in USA. Can't ship to Canada (actually, it CAN be shipped to Canada; thanks to OnceBitten for setting me straight on that) and some states, y'all know who you are (silly rules) must be legal to purchase (the 18yr old thing) and own where you live- know your laws, don't borrow trouble! Questions, comments, "I'll take it!" To : mm71348@yahoo.com.
Not really looking for trades, but thanks for looking and thinking about it.

Lovely. I have the same model. In great shape. Thanks for mentioning the Canadian contract machete thing. I was wondering.
