Okay so, for several months I've been considering some knives from CKC and while they definitely don't appear to be the biggest or fanciest automatic knives out there, their minimal and simplistic design has kind of began to grown me. I think we actually had some of their knives in my family years ago as I can vaguely remember them as a kid.

Anyways, after browsing over their offerings there were several that looked appealing to me and I thought I would look for info. on their company and their product here on BF and that's when I came across THIS...http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...lonial/page2?highlight=colonial+knife+company

After reading this thread, I have to say that I'm not only disappointed in how this soldier was treated by this company, but how some of the forum members here responded to his concerns. As to the latter, I wish I could say that I'm surprised...but I'm not. :rolleyes:

Anyways, back on topic. Does anyone here have any opinions as to the quality and reliability of CKC's products or are they better off avoided altogether?? :confused:
 
As for the Colonial knife; I have the Blackie Collins designed tanto auto and I'm overall pleased.

No threats at all. If you would have said "yes," I would have closed this thread and directed you to Tech Support to voice your complaint.

That being said, you should dial back the wiseass tone. You'll not find many here with a prolonged tolerance for it.

Yeah, after reading the responses (including responses from mods) to several courteous and civil threads from innocent newbies over the last year or so; I'd have to say you're absolutely right.

There's a lot of folks here that don't have tolerance for sh*t for just about anything.
