Are there any Balisong lovers in forum memebership from Colorado? Even Southern Wyoming (mooo) would be ok. Trying to get a meetin' together, perhaps a club.

Yo', and I know of several others as well, about 2-3 others for balisongs and then a few more that aren't into balisongs, but are into other knives.

I'm in Denver. I'm not a huge Bali fanatic, but I like them. I am trying as we speak to make that decision between a Benchmade, SWAT or a Monarch, so as I am looking at shelling out over $100 for a knife maybe I am more addicted than I thought?

Get a Benchmade. The Monarch is still new and has some minor finish problems and the SWAT just looks a little ugly. Unless you are thinking of the Red 9/11 SWAT stick with a BM.

Spend the extra $100 if you can, and go for the Tachyon. Of the 3 you mentions, the BM are the best overall value. But if Rich can get his Monarchs to be better finished (and I'm working on something to give him), they will outlast your BM's.
