Colorado bound! Any Longmont area makers?

Well AZ is drying up for real work, so we're paking up the wagons and chasing an opportunity in CO. I've already got a spot to set up my shop, and don't know a soul up there. Any Boulder/Longmont area makers up there? I'm pretty much self-taught (no-mentor) I'd love to meet some experienced makers and even newbies to learn with. Have grinder, will travel.

I haven't even finished my first attempt as my 19 month old is steadfastly against productivity. I am in Durango and there is one guy down here I know of but he didn't seem all that eager to interact when I called him. What made you pick Longmont?

That's cool, Durango is a little far for frequent trips. I was kinda looking for someone within 30 miles or so. Then again I've been accused of having an "abrasive personality"... maybe distance is the key...
