Colt and Horton...10mm and .415 Blood EDC....

awesome. mommas got a warface. notice her facial expression doesn't change after the round goes off. killer instincts :)

Pepper awesome range pics! I think momma is hooked. I love seeing women participate in the shooting sports. I bought a 22/22mag when my daughter was 4 to teach her to shoot a handgun. She is 17 now and one hell of a shot.

Damn, cleaned the gats and noticed the white was gone from the rear sights of the
10mm?!

Does anyone know what Colt puts in their sights. I Assumed it was paint but it is just a black void now. It was there before the range, as seen in the previous pics, and gone now. Weird.

Same thing happened to the front post on one of my older DE's. Looks like a white plastic pin head :)

Guess you could use some sight paint to fix it for a ghetto quickie :D.

I was actually thinking about replacing my sights with some adjustables

Bear, I checked it out, thanks. It looks loke this sight requires mill work, according to the distributor linked.... here: http://www.precisionsights.com/Product/TRT_product_page.html

silverbullets,
I set my camera shutter at 10 frames per second and then release the shutter just before firing the gun. So, out of say 20 frames, I get maybe 1 to 5 usable images, depending upon how rapid I am firing the gun.

not sure if it makes a difference or not Mike, but I don't actually use the dots when shooting. many combat sights are just black, since you are using the top of the sights only. not sure why they even put white dots on there unless they glow for low/no light shooting. even then they are just a reference point.

Good point Rick, in fact I was just reflecting last night on how I was completely unaware as to when they left the picture during the shoot last weekend. I went through about 350 rounds and had no idea they had disappeared at some point. This probably illustrates what you are suggesting.

A lot of guys actually paint over the white dots(unless they are night sights) because they say they are a distraction

I like my dots,,, my 229 has tritium night sights that are very visible, my 225 has plain ol black combat sights. I always feel better about my shooting when using the dots. ( cant really tell a difference looking at the target tho...) I am planning on having some sort of night sight sights installed just so I have some dots to line up with my target. my friend that I shoot with says he never noticed that it didnt have dots, different strokes for different folks mang
