My Dawson dagger and my never fired 1980 Series 70 (pre 80) Colt Commander.

Not really. I have 10 other 1911's all of which I do shoot. I aquired this one from a friend who got it as payment for a Tattoo he did on the original owner. Thought it would be worth more to keep it unfired.

I will end up shooting it but I have a CCW and don't want to muck up the beautiful bluing with a leather or Kydex holster on this one.

Here's an example of one of my others, which I do shoot....a lot. This one gets about 1000 rounds a month thru it. Especially when I do a three gun competition. I figure this Defender has about 20K rounds thru it since I built it.

PS: I made the grips on this one too...never do hat again..man a ton of work that!
 
That's a nice looking 1911. Great job on the grips.
Are you going to carry a 1911 as your CCW?

I do, but an odd one. here's a pic of my daily carry gun. Dan Wesson Custom Bobtail Classic. A bit easier on the lats than a regular full size 1911.
