I am selling a Limited Edition Colt Bowie Knife.

This knife was limited in production to 7500 (this blade is numbered 1800/7500). It was crafted in celebration of the Colt Cutlery line of knifes starting in 1993. Included is the Colt branded sheath that accompanied the knife (no box or certificate).

Handle Material: Checkered Hardwood
Blade Length: 8"

Is the handle a solid hardwood or a composite/laminated wood handle sometimes known as stamina wood?

Everything I can find on the Colt CT1's just says checkered hardwood. Unsure how to test for composite. I wouldn't be surprised if it was though.
