I thought I might share a few pics of a little picnic we took today. My daughter and I took our two dogs out for a little fire starting practice and some lunch on the barbie.
Here's my little girl....my "student"...she's 9
We had to bring our Lab....Lady (doing her best to look like she's alert)
This little Blue Healer/Dingo mix is the one who's really alert
Here's a nice pair of knives to have on any outing.......

Now this little skinner stays in my BOB....it's a Frost but I really like it alot
Even I managed to get into the picture somehow
We cooked some taters in foil, 3 eggs in the coals, some vienna sausages and some brautwurst, and drank hot chocolate and coffee. On a hike we came across a fresh-killed doe. Some animals had chewed off her left foreleg then split the scene so we could have a peek. We even saw a small herd of wild turkeys (which I managed to get a semi-photo of). All in all, not a bad Columbus Day for me and the girls.
