Columbus Watch Company, serial #245xxx indicates 1894 as year of manufacture. Picked it up a few years ago and had it professionally cleaned. Has lever by 5 o'clock position that pulls out to set time. It loses about one minute in a 24 hour period but there is an internal compensation adjustment, however I haven't played with it. I added the 10" gold tone chain. Asking $175.00 Paypal or USPS money order. Fees and shipping charges are included in price. Thanks for looking.

I am no expert, but from what information I can gather, the movement is largely composed of nickel. From what I have read, Columbus did not make their own cases, this case has a corresponding serial number inside both front and rear case and inside the second compartment which protects the movement, there is a small American flag with the word AMERICA under it. I assume the case is gold plated steel.
