Hello,

The 3 versions of the "affordable tomahawk" are almost finished; only heat treat, final retouch and sheath left.

Here's the pry version of it, the toughest one, only with the essential, and it will be the cheapest of the 3.
  • 4mm thick O1 steel
  • 37cm OAL.
  • 6mm thick cord wrap: reliable, very grippy and easy to replace.
  • 560 grams

Thanks for watching

I liked your other models, too, but I think the super-minimalist design to this one is very cool. Does the offset head affect it at all? Are the bolts anything special?

Thanks Hesparus,

I was a bit concerned with the offset during the design, but decided to give it a try, and you don´t feel anything strange at all.
About the bolts, these are rugged, industrial, tempered steel bolts.

Very utilitarian, simple and to the point. I'm more of a traditional wooden-hafted-axe sort of guy, but I have to say I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these.

Thanks Jay,
Thanks Devilpig.

I hope I can show you soon the final hawks.
Meanwhile, I'll be trying to upgrade and get a gold membership...
