Combat knives and throwing knives

If by Combat knife you mean For killing I would look at any of the HI line you won't mind carrying all day. Just a thought.

I like several of the Bark River Knifes. The Bravo 1 was a joint designed with a USMC Recon team. Not a weapon but a tool that would cut the s??? out of anyone if it had to. And its Marine resistant. I like the Gamekeeper a Little better for fit in my hand. Not Ninja sexy but good kit.

I picked up (10) SKS bayonets for throwing, about $2-3 each in bulk. Lose or break them its no big deal. H & B forge has a 14 inch 2 lb thrower I have been looking at once I round out the Kukhri collection. I am throwing a old set of large first style Hibbens right now and H&B tomahawk. they have held up well for what they are. Dont care much for the real cheap throwers that bend even when they stick.

Not sure why I didn't post it earlier, but if you want HI combat blades, A couple of their bowies would work well:

The Cherokee Rose (2nd from top) and Bura Bowie (3rd from top) are fairly light and nimble.

There's also the Kerambit:

It could be safely argued methinks that almost any knife one has at hand could be considered a good combat knife.
I also am a big fan of the old German bayonets for throwing. I'm not real sure of when my grandpa acquired it, an old school bus body, seemed like he had it forever but it didn't stand up well to the German bayonet I had for several years. By throwing it hard both the inner and outer body of the bus body could be penetrated letting in too much moisture and ruining the bus body for the storage my grandpa kept it for.
Like all kids I didn't have a lot of money to spend on knives so I had a motley collection but I was able to throw all of them once I got its distance in relation to the others....
I always did prefer a heavier knife for throwing, like anything else you wanna get good at it you gotta practice!!!!
