Combat Kukri

hee ehe! Good stuff, Ben FXtive.

I think we need some Embriodered Cantina Straightjackets. With velcro loops for computers and modems.

Sure wish someone had warned me before I let them fasten this jacket up the back, now I can't get the damn thing off. And where did all the doorknobs go?

I practice Martial Arts... Arnis Kali (stick and knife fighting) and jujitsu and kickboxing.

I have held a 16.5 WWII in my hand bcs i got one for my friend. It felt amazing. I got him a Bura Horn Handle WWII and I swear i dint want to part with it. But I knew that my friend would love it so I gave it to him anyway.

But I did take the opportunity to swing it around a bit inthe air. I will be honest with you... it is not a "quick blade" but you can fight with it if you had to. it probably is the "best all around Khuk" but for sheer knife fighting I think that a lighter khuk is more practical... I think that when you swing the WWII 16.5 with reasonable force its still kinda hard to have a lot of control over it.

to get an idea of my build.. im 5'10 and 170 pounds... and i work out a lot. did the military academy thing and stayed in shape ever since. I love the WWII but i still dont think its fast and controlable enough for my liking in a fighting situation.

but it felt so amazing in my hands... i definately liked it more than my chiruwa

When you start to understand what these blades are about you will see the arts you describe and far more are contained in it.
The sirupate is lighter and a little faster, but thats not such an issue if you know what to do.
