Combat Ready EDA ? Any earthly use ?

It's like the range toy of the knife world.
Ridiculous , and basically pointless but you can have fun with it and you could probably defend yourself with it if you really had to.

I'll bet this would chop carrots fairly well.

After 1000 repetitions you get this useful result.

I guess it is good for showing off to try and make friends. Once they learn how much you spent on it they won’t want to be friends no more though.

Now now:D Some things are just for fun. I have to admit that I have almost bought one to see what it was like. They run about 30 bucks. I could see scratching your head at it if it cost around 300 or even 60 bucks.

For under 40 dollars, with a couple of glasses of bourbon in me and a spare Amazon gift card, I could see myself buying one to play with for a couple days then tossing it in my car trunk for a back up to a back up to a back up:D

Maybe no earthly use, but if you ever find yourself battling the forces of evil in outer space you will be glad you have one!

1. Will it baton?
2. How can you not throw that axe in the video? I will assume the axe sticking into the tree at the end was thrown.
3. I'd call mine Mjolnir. I don't care that the real Mjolnir is a hammer.

In all seriousness, the only folding chopper I've seen that seems to make any sense whatsoever is the Cold Steel Rajah. I was fairly skeptical, but it actually does fairly well as a folding machete/light hatchet. I like to hike trails that aren't frequently used and it's nice to take on shorter trips where taking a machete could be inconvenient, but light clearing might be necessary.

Did I imply that I didn't WANT one ? :p

I thought it was a folding razel until I saw more of the video.

What's it for? Mall ninjas.

It’s for mall Gauls actually.

I suppose it could be used to cut down tiny saplings. Maybe you could hit an attacker in the head with it?

It’s combat ready after all.

I guess it is barely cool. I’m pretty sure it won’t last to any chopping. Looks like something Strider would make and try to pass off as a legit option.

I love my Raj and did actually carry it for several months . Never became quite comfortable for EDC , but great for taking on a hike for light work . Doesn't replace a full sized Khuk or camp ax , but pretty amazing for a folder . I've even thrown mine some with no damage except loosened pivot .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah, I would never carry mine on the daily, but it's both satisfying and weirdly convenient to have something that can cover light machete work in your pocket.
