Fools and maybe teens , but can't say I'm not a LITTLE tempted !Burning calories and separating fools from their money.
Kinda what I was afraid of . It just looks too small and light for a good chopper , yet too bulky to pocket much .Purchased one for sapling work a few years ago. Initially fun to use, but too big to function as an edc and I found any heavy fixed blade or light hatchet did better with saplings. Now it sits in my collection and it’s unlikely it will see more use
Thanks for your reply and the video :Want to laugh at it, but similar was tried years ago -

Those were meant as small hunter's hatchets, usually used with a baton on joints, etc.....
Here's someone using this new one for chopping -

Do you think it would replace a combat ready SAK in my pocket?Who DOESN'T want a tool that combines the worst aspects of a folder and hatchet into one supremely useless tool? You shouldn't ask what can it do, you should ask what CAN'T it do!
Replace your SAK, your wallet, your phone, your keys, your car, even most of your friends. The Combat Ready folding hatchet can do anything and everything!Do you think it would replace a combat ready SAK in my pocket?![]()
Sure ! But can you wave it open from your pocket ?What you guys REALLY need is one of these things:

"Combat ready tactical battle pick."
Details? I'd EDC that.
I'm actually impressed by that folding pick, it's one of those things you'll probably never use, but I respect that they tried to tacticalise an old strange design. Here's what it's based on (Afghani Lohar) -
