Does anyone have any insight if the CSF blade and the Tiger blade are identical or just very similar?

The stamp is a good question. My newest additions (Hatin and Big Bulldog) don't have any date stamp. One is production and the other limited, but both were late in the year. Maybe date stamps have gone away?

No date stamp on my CSF SF #0050 that just showed up. I thought it was the same blade as the Tiger but it is different. Not as tall of a blade and isn't as curved of a blade as well. Though the blade seems to be more of a upwards angle in comparison to the angle of the handle which I didn't notice in the pictures of it. 2 detent system. Uses 2 different sized Nylatrons in it like some other EKI's. Jimping is more open like on the Gentleman Jim versus the tighter/grippier style like on the Tiger. Love to post a comparison picture with a Tiger but my camera is broken.

Nice Ray, I'm excited for this one. I noticed the swedge looks a bit longer/deeper as compared to the Tiger (judging by pictures).

Yeah, The swedge grind is different. I believe it's mostly due to the angle of the grind as it doesn't travel/cut that far into the bevel grind like it does with the Tiger. Kind of like laying the blade more parallel to the grinder doing the swedge grind with the CSF where the usual seems like a set angle/percentage for a even bevel through the length of the swedge instead of a tapering look. It's a deeper cut towards the top of the blade with the CSF but it is 1.5mm shorter in length of a grind compared to the Tiger. The cut out for the sharpening choil/closed stop pin interface on the CSF (4.5mm) is deeper on the Tiger (6mm). Height of the Wave is the same (10mm). There is a more noticeable difference in manufacturing marks between the steel liner and the Ti liner with the steel liner having smoother jimping (mistake or deburred too much? don't know). Once the knife breaks-in, liners are getting refinished so that's no big deal to me being that almost all of my EKI's have their warranty voided by personal mods and scales (assuming no issues found during break-in).

10mm from the top of the thumbdisc to the top/tip of the Wave (part your thumb rests on). Not a measurement of the Wave hook's inner diameter but overall height. The Hattin's is 7.5mm. The Zealot is 8mm. 7AW & 7V are 7mm. ETAK is 9.2mm.

The differences between the Tiger blade and CSF blade are so subtle that I had to hold them next to each other to see them. I do like this slightly better than the Tiger. It is my first signature series with a signature on it. My only complaint is that the signature is very hard to see on the stonewashed finish but I didn't buy the knife for the signature so it isn't a big complaint at all. Overall another great knife.
