Thanks guys. Lorien we have been busy trying to catch up on some orders. Charlie and I both are working on a carved handle knife (his is a hunter and mine is a Bowie) and they seem to fill our days.
This knife was designed with a lot of help from a Ranger that was heading to Iraq a few years ago. He had specific things he wanted in the design and the maximum of a 5 inch blade, light weight, sharp slicing type of edge, and no corners or sharp edges on the handle are just a few of them. He wanted to be able to open his hand and the knife stay in it. He also wanted to be able to remove the belt loop from the sheath, and be able to tie the knife into the sheath. It turned into a popular design and has been in both Iraq and Afghanistan with nothing but praise for its performance.
We like it when a design turns out like this.
