Combative Edge M 1 folder ?

Sweet. Do want.

Rob, if you're making a trip near the city any time soon, please let me know. Or maybe I'll have to take a trip out toward your way. I'd like to pick up one of these from you, and figure... why not act like real humans and transact face to face, instead of mailing things and electronically transferring dollars? I'll pm you my contact info, in case that's feasible.

hey Rob, your picture is way better than mine! :) and i fixed what you were talking about! it work and looks better! :D

Wow, it looks much more impressive in hand than in the stock photo. And it still looked good in the stock photo. -You might have a real winner here.

I just got back from the gun show where I bought one. So far so great. This is my new favorite knife. Balanced perfectly, light weight, good size, great feel. Sharpens quickly.

"Sharpens quickly"? You just got it today ... :D

I'm really interested in this one, so some more hands-on reviews would be appreciated.

It looks pretty substantial in the hand as well.

Keep the reviews coming ...

Looking for it to come out in "plain edge" many of us don't dig the semi-serrated blades. Hope that will be an option?

Thanks Speed Racer

The first link that I clicked on in the thread said m1 then m1 serrated, I didn't know they were clickable links duhhh :o

Great job. I love that little graduated divot to allow access to the opening stud, like there is on the Alias.

Out of the box it's fairly sharp, but not quite as sharp as I like. As far as the graduated divot goes, it's angled kind of wierd. Feels like it should be angled more towards the tip for a smooth opening with the thumb stud. I usually use the tip on the spine of the blade (excuse my lack of nominclature) and a quick flick to open it. I bought it in plain edge. I don't care for the partial serrations either. What impresses me the most is the balance. I'm kind of OCD about that. I have never held a folder, or any knife for that matter, that was balanced this well. I also like that it gives you the option to carry it tip up or down.

The M1 looks like an incredible knife. Regarding the divot in the handle--I know it can be used for both--is the design purpose to allow easier opening using the stud or as an indentation for your index finger for grip?

looks like a winner man. flipper with finger protection is a nice touch. I actually like the crkt m-16's due to the flipper.
Good rockwell and priced similar to comparable's.

fixed what you were talking about! it work and looks better!

What needs to be fixed guy. I hate if there's an issue and nobody shares it. :)

great looking pictures there, goldie!:thumbup: he's also has different g-10 scales. :)

It arrived today. ive been playing with it,its kind of like a slim zt0200.same length & blade size, but not as thick & much less noticable in the pocket. because its thinner it feels abit sharper in the hand, but at the same time the grip is very positive.lockup & blade centering is perfect.the flipper seems to work better when a flick of the wrist is applied.its my first knife thats 1/2 g10 1/2 ti. since im a lefty,i see the ti side more, which i like, & when drawing from the pocket,my thumb grips the cutout/divot part of the handle.the g10 ti is weird to get used to,kind of like a 1/2 man 1/2 woman at a carnival side show !i guess anyone with a strider would feel more at home....

cziv, got your email and told you what i had done. the thing that needed fixed was something i did wrong. nothing is wrong with the knife. when i had changed the clip to tip-up,i had turned the lock-stop upside down. Rob brought up the right way. so i fixed it. :)
