I'm thinking about picking up a new aluminum M1. Has anybody handled both the manual and assisted or have any suggestions as to which one they prefer? Thanks in advance.

Never see anybody post about these knives anymore lmao. TBH, I think they were better when they were one side g10 (original model)

Thanks. For some reason I'm on a kick to find a new knife with an aluminum handle and a blade between 3.5 and 4. I really like the character an aluminum handle gets as it gets used and takes on the dings and scratches. Stumbled across theses M1s and was just curious. I'm open to any other suggestions. I was looking at the Benchmade 477 & 943, Hogue EX01, and even a Protech Tr-5.

Pretty sure the Buck Marksman fits the lower end of the size and is easily deployed, affordable, and has a decent coating on the aluminum handles.
