The M1 is easily one of my favorite knives so I will try to offer some input here to help out you and Combative Edge's reputation. I too put my order in for a 2013 M1 a few weeks ago, and was a bit dismayed that they took the money immediately when in reality it was a preorder that you were getting in on. They should have made that more clear, as I at first expected my knife to be shipping immediately. According to their facebook, the new M1 was supposed to be delivered around July 10, and as far as I know mine hasn't shipped yet. I left a comment on their facebook before even reading this post, as I was getting a bit concerned.

I really wish they would be a bit more communicative because I really like the M1 so much that I bought a 2013 model after getting the 2012, so I have a bit invested in this company and their products. It doesn't help that Rob has just been tweeting about the Zimmerman trial the last few weeks with no updates about their knives.
