comcealment holsters?

+1 for Blade Tech.

For an IWB, please, please listen to Powernoodle and get loops. J-hooks will break because Kydex does not have the tensile strength for that kind of repeated bending.

If she finds that IWB isn't working, I suggest an offset rig (paddle or belt loop) as it will "cure" the "issues" generated by body shape and the way clothes generally hang, she won't have to worry about a "print".

TKC has it right! IMO it's always better to carry on the body if you have that choice (I realize that sometimes you don't).

Why polymer? It's lower profile (not nearly as thick as leather needs to be), doesn't care about moisture, has superior retention but will release smoothly, and it will stay open when the weapon is removed.

Mind you I have nothing against leather, and the craftsmen listed for such products are excellent. I'll also add that leather has an aesthetic that polymers can't beat. I'm just a utility kind of guy.

i've alsways found leather to release better, knives and pistols both, but thats just me.

How about Appendix IWB? It is fast, fairly easy to conceal and the hips don't get in the way. there are good choices in leather or Kydex.

Sounds like somebody needs to try out a "GOOD" kydex rig !

These have been used to win multiple National and World titles by guys that can use anything they want:

I can't recommend anything from personal experience but a "New York Rig" would be worth a look at first.

i've had blade tech holsters, and custom kydex knife holsters, and kydex cheap and expensive lol, i suppose bud nealys sheaths work pretty good, really as good as anything, but i have had a few sheaths made here and there and was never happy with the release, same with pistol holsters, most guys in competition use holsters that wouldnt ever work for me for edc, but i agree thats the way to go in competition, but hey chocolate and vanilla, everybody's different .

but yeah if i was gonna compete i would use one of the skeletonized looking kydex rigs.

but for edc IWB i have always preffered leather myself, its also just more comfy.

That's not what they used at the USPSA Nationals held in September. They were full coverage practical holsters.

Send me a PM, please.
