A small Scimitar , This was ground from oversized 3/16" A-2 Tool steel , I did a dual grind . Started with a flat and then finished it up with a convex blending all the lines in . Finished it off with a medium then a fine scotch bright belt .

The balance point is right at the center of the guard , I left some extra meat on the blade from the tip back about 3-1/2" to help balance things out and to help cleave through ?

O.A.L is 15-1/2"

Blade is 9-3/4" , tip to guard and is 1-3/4" wide at its widest point

Sharpened edge is at 9 "

Fittings are also A-2 with a red liner spacer , acorn cap nut is S.S.

Handle is a Buffalo Horn round , sanded to an oval shape for a great grip . Fatter at the top than bottom with white liners between the handle and fittings .

Sheath is 8 oz cow hide , right hand carry , belt or bandolero carry .

Warning to potential buyer , she has already been blooded and is thirsty for more , so be careful

Asking $530.00 + $15.00 for priority shipping in the USA . Pay-pal or Postal M/O my PP is sandlot @charter.net .
This Item will be shipped signature required .

That's it , thank you all for looking and I hope you like my new piece .

Beautiful work Jack, as always! It's terrific to see this design...a pleasure to hold I'm sure!!

That's really cool. Balancing it the way you have must have been a challenge.
The only thing I don't like is the absence of a certain concrete foot :D

Jack;

Nice work Jack - very imaginative. Looks even better because the ugly ass foot is missing. :)
