Come on, tracking skills..

mymindisamob got it.

So here's another one. This critters front feet are bigger than its rear, its tracks range from 4-6.5 cm in width. I might be wrong but they can be 3 1/2 inches long.

Good thread! I'm kind of a fan of anything to do with tracks and tracking.

Wow, I need to get you guys some deer and moose track pics next time im out, THERE HUGE!

I did this with some Boy Scouts once. The best response the whole night was "I don't care what it is cus I can eat anything":p

I don't know about the last one. If it was a bear track, it would have to be a grizzly, and thats not near big enough. Here's a couple. Some will probably recognize each of them.

There you go. Not sure about the one. I had to look it up.:D

erm the top is dog? or from a family of a dog?? the other one is?? not sure but look like human tracks if you do not look close enough

Barrabas, somethin in the weasel family...I'm goin with fox

Any Cal. That top one is a coyote or wolf...I think
bottom, a rabbit

There are tracks from at least three different species in this picture. Can you find them? One is very easy to identify, another might be a bit more difficult, and the third one is a bit hard to see in the photo.

Feday, the top one is a coyote. I am not much help on the bottom. I thought it was a little squirrel hole. If you know, you must be right. I was just not sure.

Deer, Coyote and Wild Turkey?

Yep pretty sure it's a rabbit. If you look at the scrape on the rear of some of the tracks and the little ones in front of those go straight down. That's my best guess and how I got it. The hole as well is a big one that makes me think it's a rabbit.

BTW DUH to me on the coyote up there. I didn't enlarge it and just did and man do I feel dumb! :p

Dave, is it just me or does it look like that coyote is tracking that deer? If you look at the right most visible coyote track it's turning right with the deer. Like he's turning and sniffing it. That's what it looks like to me anyway.

:D Tasty deer treats!
