So today is my parents 38th year wedding anniversary. When I was growing up it was always a big to-do. Over the last few years it has become less so. In 2012 we did a big blowout event for their 35th. The whole black-tie affair. So this year my pops wanted a pasta machine. Which he got. The funny part is it was a $300 machine that I got for half price because when I was in the store I up sold a lady a full line of Le Cruset pans. Basically she came in to the store to buy a $ 70 pan and walked out happy that she spent $1,500. The store manager gave me her employee discount she says because she just got the massive commission off the pans.
