comercially made oil burner

G'day All, just came across this oil burner on Ebay and wondered what the pros and cons of using a burner like this in a forge would be. Fuel oil is diesel right? would you be able to run veggie oil or old motor oil in this burner?

This is a non adjustable used piece of equipment. I would not plan on it being hot enough for forging. It may be but it cannot be adjusted. I would recommend getting the book "The Artful Bodger's Iron Casting Waste Oil Furnace" by Colin Peck. That is a boiler burner. Might be a nice thing to have around for something, but not for a forge.
