Uh oh, I foresee questions about Scotch and hot wommenz.

we have purchased three new and updated modules for our shopping cart. we will be installing these asap. we believe this will make shopping for a busse knife more enjoyable.

"Set minimum and maximum quantity order rules. You can establish a required minimum number of each product that must be ordered. You can also establish a maximum number of each product that can be in a single order. This module is for "

"Automatically delete expired baskets and restock the inventory with the products that were sequestered in those expired baskets. Emails with Sale Saver feature can notify store owner with summary restocking results and identify customer and product info in abandoned baskets. This module is for "

All right! That sounds great! I guess it's no more people jamming 50 items in their basket at the same time. :D Way to go, Skunk!

Is there any way with your new software modules to require the user/shopper to login before adding to the basket, that would probably help with the basket loading problem and I doubt it would scare away any customers.

I don't know about the specific software Skunk is using, but it is certainly doable with software in general. A lot of online stores require you to login before you can put anything in the cart, and that seems to work for them. And it does make it easier to spot those who decide to hold 20 knives in their cart without any intention to buy for a week.

I'm glad to see that the squeeky wheel does get greased once in a while. Thanks to Skunk for going the extra mile to make our purchasing experience as pleasureable as possible. But I agree with PG. I would have loved the chance to take the hogtier and run up one side of him and down the other.

But as they say, NO REGRETS!!! BRING ON THE STAMPEDE!

CRAP. :grumpy:
Now, how will I mess with the new piglets??? :p

No seriously... I'm sure there will be benefits to the new system, but...

Like stated somewhere before, I like to have some decision time...
could be on which combo, could be on how many.

If I take 30 mins trying to decide if I want 1... or 4... will there be any left by the time I decide.
This is assuming that we'll only be able to cart one until checkout time.

Or... if there are several different combos, and I definitely want 1 (or however many),
but the one I really want is hogtied.
(again, assume there are only 10 available, and 10 hogs have them carted)
I'll hold a second choice combo until the one I want gets released.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... I was able to cart everything I may want...
and keep it in the cart until I've made my decision.
With the new system... not quite sure this luxury will be allowed. :(

Honestly... I've never had a problem scoring any and all that I've wanted.
I say find the hogtier who does this for days on end and ban his or her IP address.
Either that, or I hope Skunker gives me no restrictions. :D
