I thought of you at Blade Show Bruche! I met Sandy Morrisey finally, and we had a long talk.

Damn thats a fine sheath.

wow.. that is a great looking sheath man.. nice work once again B... love the scales on that knife too..:D

The bottom part has a hole punched for some paracord. The entire bottom half is welted. I like the way the color turned out. I used 3 colors of dye diluted with Makers Mark.

Woah! I loved that knife but this new sheath compliments it sooooo well..........

About how long does it take to make a sheath like that?
compared to what I make up your sheaths are just awesome.
mine are basic but your are so detailed. I like um.

Not too long. Usually 3 days until they are "done".

The first day most of the work is completed. Making up the pattern, cutting the leather, welting, glueing, sanding the edges and then stitching wet forming and tooling. Takes maybe 3 to 5 hours depending on the sheath.

Once the sheath is dry I dye and finish.

I like to have the third day to make sure the leather is totally dry.

I keep saying this, and I'll KEEP saying it. ilbruche is making some of the best leather sheaths I've seen.

You can have these when you bring me back a couple members of the Swedish bikini team. :D
