Trying my hand at smoked queso tonight. I made some a couple years ago that wasn't as good as I had hoped. Decided I should give it another try. It's getting Velveeta, pepper jack, cream cheese, Rotel, Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, and some seasoning.

@ac700wildcat

how did it come out?
did you smoke the sausage before crumbling it and adding it to the cheese, or mix everything then melt it in the smoker?

It never tastes as good as it does in the mexican restaurants. Man I love that stuff.

...which means we have to finish this one before the next eclipse, Y'all.
Git 'er done!

Here's an off-topic pic of some Overdrive/Distortion electric guitar pedals I built last week. Pic on my usual background for authentication purposes:

i snagged a poly blue octave. so fun.

A out 02-26 F around here. Now the 3 day blizzard is over, about 8"-12" of snow. Atleast there was snow on the ground so no added build up. And it covers all that exposed dust and pollen.

Every time I come to this forum and see this threads title, for a split second I think it’s announcing a new Becker coming in April. Then I get sad.

Heading to the cabin for a 3 day weekend. Temps in the 70's. Should be a good time.

So much for that idea. Got there noonish, after a 3 hour drive, to discover the cabin was full of Asian beetles and red wasps. Killed and cleaned up what we could, stopped for a burger, and came back home. Gas was 70¢ cheaper per gallon there.
