I purchaced a Commander about 2 months ago. Of all the folding knives I own, it is by far my most favorite. I'm extremely pleased with it in every aspect.

I've got a question on how it is put together. The only fastener that I can see going thru both liners is the pivot pin. the other smaller screws only fasten the G10 to the liners. Are there concealed screws under the G10 near the butt side that connect the liners?

Good guess.

There are four screws under the left grip panel that go through the plastic spacer and thread into the right side's titanium liner.

Terry,

Indeed there are 3 screws fastening the liners underneath the scales. If you are curious, you are more than welcome to take the knife apart. You will not strip out any threaded G-10 or void our warantee

. If you take it apart, you will be surprised how much crap gets built up in there that you can't see.

take care,
Derek
