Commander neck sheath ???

Does the upcoming custom production line say anything about additional (custom) sheaths for the commander, police utility, la griffe, or any other knife?

I have enough materials on hand to make about 5 of the Commander neck sheaths. I did not make the one in John's photo, but it looks just like it. If anyone is interested in buying one, e mail me at HK24@aol.com. I am not going into the business but will make some for forumites. If I get more than 5 replies, I will get more materials.

Thanks,

Lynn

Just got mine and played w/ it for several hours.
This thing is solid. It's well thought out and executed. The safety is a nice feature.

I will definetly be carrying this on duty w/ clients. I can now purge alot of other knives that gave me the flexibility I needed
in situations. This configuration compliments each other well. As well addresses all my concerns in "CC" situations.

My next quest is a ES1-M in ceramic blade w/
Carbon Fiber or G-10 Handle. :-{)

I think we may be working something out on an ES1-M version.

It will not be done before I see you though.

I talked with the maker the other day and he said that the final version will probably close at the side rather than the end as with JH's pictured model. He also mentioned the addition of a removeable belt clip. It would REALLY be neat to have a clip that would allow horizontal belt carry...
Said the production version would be smaller than pictured model.

I'm new here...does anyone know if there are any of these sheaths floatin' around for lefties? They look ambi' but I haven't seen the other side.

Bennett is correct, the final version will be slightly different based on feedback that he got.

RK, You are in luck. It just so happens that the Gentleman making the sheaths is left handed, therefore a lefty version is in the works.

John

HK24@aol.com will make you that sheath for about $25.00. He has done a number for BF members already and they have been quite happy from what I understand.

I have one of HK24's sheaths and I am very happy with it. I doesn't have a belt clip. I do not think that it would be difficult at all to affix one if need be. I have a few other sheaths with dedatcable belt loops that I think would work o.k.
I have a question for those who have this sheath. Has anyone shortened the para cord so that it is only utilized for the safety loop and blade catch so that a break away ball chain could be used to suspend the sheath? I feel that para cord around my neck is kind of dangerious and would prefer the ball chain. I have yet to try it myself but have been giving it alot of thought.
