Comments on ka-bar folding knives?

That's what I have. I not 100% sure but I think its called the fin drop point. It comes in an AUS 8 as well as a few different blade variations. There's a non serrated, a partially serrated, and a hawkbill/tanto style... I'll try and get some pics up for you a little later today. It's a sturdy liner lock with some pretty substantial jimping and the kicker, a blade shaped like my favorite fixie the BK2 !!!!!

i'm partial to the zombie folder - it's hard to beat ...

the doziers are LIGHT and inexpensive and good for the value

everyone love the phat bobs too

the zombie/mule is going to be a honey badger of a knife - bad ass.
 
So i ended up getting the dozier, i do like it, price, (from what i can tell) blade quality, and sharp right out of the box.

My one negative comment about it would be the clip,

first its superrrrr tight, i feeel like im gonna rip my jeans when i clip it in.

secondly i feel like the clip is upside down, with it clipped in the blade opens downwards. Maybe that just a thing of my personal preference but id rather pull the knife out of my pocket and fold upwards rather then down....( with blade in pocket, clip outside, the blade swings out counter clock wise facing down)

i checked out the zombie/mule blade and it has reversible pocket clip and kraton G rubber inserts in the handles. in open length its 2 inches longer, and weights .35 lbs more then the dozier (weight is pretty much negligible) the blade is also a bit thicker(dozier .110 vs mule .135). on amazon its dozier $19.34 vs mule $36.01

overall i do like the dozier, but id love to see a mule in person. Maybe ill do an upgrade and hand down my dozier to my dad.
 
you could probably loosen that clip up if you want. or learn to work with it. better tight than lost :)

yea im gonna try to loosen it, its also reversible so im gonna flip it over it should take care of my not opening like i like it problem, ill try loosening it, but ur right better tight than lost.
